Maybe you are not familiar with the name of Chorley Football Club, noted football club from Chorley, Lancashire, England, but never mind, from now on the name of club will be uttered with more esteem than ever before. Reason? As per the latest declaration of the club, it is on the verge of opening its doors in an effort to render local youngsters the chance to achieve an assortment of qualifications.

Let’s get into the novel concept more meticulously. Chorley Football Club will be holding an NVQ Level 2 course in Sport Recreation and Allied Occupations with Activity Leadership and it will operate one day per week for a total of three hours per day and is for 16-18 year-olds girls and boys as well. What shall be the duration of the course? It will be for 20-26 weeks and the training will be club based, all the students will receive a minimum of seven qualifications.

The scheme has been developed by Luis Michael Training and will be delivered in partnership with Chorley FC and Xtra Time Training.

What is more striking the entire course has been made free of charge and tin order o enroll all students are required to provide their National Insurance number, their full home address, proof of date of birth and an emergency contact number. Commenting on this, Chairman of the club, Ken Wright said: “I am hoping the scheme will be a success and I am delighted at the prospect of helping develop local young people with both their academic studies and football talents.” “Although primarily it is a training scheme, we will also be able to cast an eye over potential young Chorley FC footballers.
