High profile department store Selfridges is planning to launch an iPod tutorial charging the uninitiated 65 pounds for a 40-minute one-on-one session at the store. According to news reports, the lessons can also be taken at one's home for a little extra fee.

Robert Phillis to retire as CEO of Guardian Media Group
Sir Robert Phillis, chief executive of Guardian Media Group, the company that owns The Guardian newspaper, is retiring later this year because of health problems. He made an announcement Friday saying he has been diagnosed as having an early-stage bone marrow cancer last summer and by relinquishing his full-time job, he would want to concentrate on his non-executive responsibilities and pursue other interests.

Vodafone, Sony in tie-up in streaming music project
Vodafone Group Plc is teaming up with Sony NetServices to launch a new music service that enables customers to access music using their cell phones. The company, the world's largest mobile phone services provider, said the service, Vodafone RadioDJ, will offer streamed music from radio channels that can be personalised on to 3G phones or computers.
