BioForce Appoints Gabor Bethlendy Manager Of European Sales
<< Home
AMES, Iowa, Sept. 6 BioForce Nanosciences (OTC Bulletin Board: BFNH.OB), a leader in nanotechnology tools and products, has named Gabor Bethlendy Sales Manager for Europe. He will be
based in Boston, Massachusetts.

Bethlendy joins BioForce from Combimatrix Corp., where he was the Regional Sales Manager for the custom microarray and array synthesizer product lines. Prior to this, Bethlendy was the Sr. Application Scientist for Agilent Technologies responsible for the entire genomics product line
from reagents to informatics. He played a critical role in the development of the CGH and ChIP-ChIP business for Agilent in the Boston community. He will assist BioForce's European distributor (Nanoandmore) and the United Kingdom distributor (Windsor Scientific) to identify and secure additional installations in these regions for the Nano eNabler(TM) system, the
company's signature product.

The premier product, the Nano eNabler(TM) benchtop molecular printing system, places tiny domains of biological materials on surfaces with nanometer spatial precision. This spring BioForce placed a Nano eNabler(TM) system in Paris at the Universite Pierre & Marie Curie (UPMC) where
researchers are using the printer for cell protein patterning. The Institute of Biomedical Chemistry in Moscow, Russia, is using the system to immobilize proteins and peptides on Sindex(TM) chips for nanoscale detection and analysis. Bethlendy commented, "I am excited about the
leading institutions that have decided to partner with us and look forward to leveraging these relationships into product improvements and sales."

"We recently attended the International Conference on Nanoscience and Technology in Basel, Switzerland, where we engaged in productive discussions with key distributors," said Kerry Frey, BioForce Chief Operating Officer. "Gabor will work with BioForce customers and distributors in Europe and the United Kingdom, and spearhead our effort there to identify other potential installations for our product. We are pleased to welcome him to the company."
